  • It's been a while, but there's finally been some substantial progress made! Chief spray painter, Andrew Hollolegs, and painted the car over the weekend of the 8th and 9th of November!

  •

  • As you can see, it's very orange!!! Which is a great improvement over what it was. I'm going to add some black "GT" stripes, well to keep the lineage correct (Holden being a GM company) 1967 Camaro RS stripes soon.

  • But more importantly, the gearbox has to come soon. The car is basically finished, the wiring is all done, it's painted, it runs, the suspension is complete (short of a wheel alignment), the tailshaft has been shortened, the tyres have been bought and fitted. In fact if the gearbox was fitted it could be tuned tomorrow and taken to Winton on Friday for testing!!

  • I had wanted to do the FFCC cup day sprint at Sandown, but that has been and gone now. There is one more sprint on the Calendar, which is run by the Victorian Alfa Club (yes I know it's not and Alfa) at Phillip Island on the 13th of December. I am committed to being there, now I just have to get some other people committed to me being there (gear box, what gear box?!?)

  • Have a bit of a look at the photo gallery for some more photos of the car being painted.....

        Bye for now,

        Delian.
